ABOUT ME

If you see everything you encounter as an opportunity for

inner growth, you gain inner strength."

(Milarepa)

Who I am:

I view life in its entirety. As a philanthropist with a holistic worldview, I believe that body, mind, and soul are inextricably linked—and that nothing in life happens without meaning. Every experience, every encounter, carries its own quiet lesson, shaping who we become.

Throughout my life, I have found my greatest strength in nature, which grounds me, in my family, which supports and steadies me, in traveling, which expands my view of the world, and in a conscious connection to life, which gives everything depth and meaning.

A love of learning and teaching has run like a thread through my life for as long as I can remember. It has continually inspired me to grow, to seek knowledge, and to share what I discover along the way. Today, this is most evident in my yoga journey—a path that allows me to keep evolving while supporting others in their own development. In this space, teaching and learning are no longer separate; they flow into one another, enriching both my students and myself, and reminding me that teaching yoga means taking responsibility for my own life, being mindful, and appreciating the value of every single moment. These are all things that keep us healthy and make us happy.

True to the motto:

“If you want to be happy, you don't need an instruction manual – it's all within us.”

My story:

Being in motion on all levels has always been a central theme in my life.  In 2005, after a very challenging time, I started practicing yoga.

Over the years, what was initially intended as a balance to everyday life has become a way of life for me, allowing me to experience the necessary balance, joy in life and a sense of inner peace. This made it possible for me to juggle my management job, my family and my normal everyday life. I quickly developed the desire to immerse myself even deeper in yoga.

I was inspired and encouraged by my teachers to continue my yoga path. The more intensively I studied yoga philosophy, the clearer it became to me that life, with all the tasks it presents us with, is very colorful, multifaceted and instructive. It all depends on how you look at it.

Recognizing this, acting accordingly and, above all, being prepared to let go of the old and habits is not the easiest exercise, but it is ultimately very liberating and valuable.

I am certified according to the worldwide recognized Yoga Alliance guidelines, YA E-RYT 500. I have been teaching, organizing yoga retreats & trips and leading workshops for 12 years. I also work as a trainer and lecturer for mindfulness, stress management and burnout prevention. As a certified specialist consultant for stress and burnout prevention, I accompany people out of their crises and support them in saying “YES” to life again.

In addition to my own practice, it is very important to me to regularly attend workshops and teacher training with renowned and internationally recognized teachers.

I would like to thank all my teachers who have accompanied me on my yoga path and have had a lasting influence on me, who continue to inspire me and from whom I can learn again and again!

I would especially like to thank:

Joan Hyman, Chad Hamrin, Bob Metzler, Erika Trice and

Annie Carpenter

Richard & Meret Hackenberg, Nella & Dr. Ralph Skuban

and, as well as my first yoga teacher Monika Resch, who gave me access to yoga in the first place.

For me, yoga means......

the perfect blend of strength and calm, balance and movement.

The connection of body, mind and soul into one unit. A path that never ends, a lifelong process that brings permanent change and growth.

Yoga is a gift for me...

because it calms my mind, helps me to think clearly, gives me the necessary the necessary balance and the feeling of inner peace and therefore more joy in life. It has caught me and never let me go.

Yoga is my faithful companion through life.

Sharing this with others gives me great joy and is a matter close to my heart. I am very grateful and happy that I can accompany my fellow human beings on their path to more physical and mental health, harmony, joie de vivre and ultimately, to themselves.
